Sounds of Tanacross

Letter M

Letter m is pronounced with both lips together and air flowing through the nose, much as in English. However, in Tanacross the pronunciation may vary between m, mb, and b, all of which are pronounced with both lips together. There is quite a bit of variation between speakers, so these examples should be taken as representative only. In Tanacross, m occurs only at the start of a syllable, never at the end.
