Sounds of Tanacross

Letter DL

Letter dl is a combination of letters d and l. It is similar to the dl sound found in the middle of English words such as 'headless'. Tanacross dl may occur at the beginning, middle, and end of words. At the end of a word it is pronounced similar to the dl in English 'ladle'.
